Simon Cowell, the reality talent show maven is rumoured to have chosen Irish presenter Laura Whitmore to be the next host of the Irish show "Xtra Factor". If she is chosen for the position she will replace Caroline Flack which would represent the second time she has taken over a role for her.
In 2011 Laura Whitmore took over the host duties from Caroline Flack for the spin-off show "I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! Now! and the show did very well and now it seems that history is repeating itself. There have been no overt complaints about the performance of Caroline Flack as the "Xtra Factor" executives consider her to be a great presenter.
However, with the availability of Laura Whitmore and the sterling reviews she has been receving for her performance in the spin-off show it is likely that Simon Cowell did not want to wait any longer to have Laura Whitmore take over the hosting duties of "Xtra Factor" alongside past X Factor contestant Rylan Clark.
Recently Laura Whitmore made a stunning appearance as the co-host of the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA). She wore a full length white gown with pink flowers embroidered down the front and if Simon Cowell happened to see her in this role this might have been the outfit and performance that led him to make the final decision if it has been made.
She combined wit and style in making the evening a success. Her gown, her striking figure and her intoxicating face ensured that she was the focus of attention for much of the evening and her intellect and personality kept the viewers and audience in the palm of her hand and it is this is the type of appeal that is needed to make "Xtra Factor" a success in the ratings and why Simon Cowell looked at the attractive Laura Whitmore to be the new host of the show.
