Over the course of the past few months, there have been plenty of rumours about which models will make it into the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2015 and which of them will be appearing in the publication for the first time. Now that the magazine has finally been revealed, we now know exactly who is in it and which models will be battling it out for the Rookie of the Year award.
Last year we saw the Portuguese model Sara Sampaio win the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2014 Rookie of the Year title and she has landed a lot of interesting and exciting modelling jobs over the course of the past year. This year we have a very competitive rookie class, with some of the most beautiful models in the industry up for the award.
While it is expected to be a very close affair this year, it has already become clear that Erin Heatherton is the favourite to be crowned the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2015 Rookie of the Year. Erin has work with some very big names in the modelling world and she has the looks to go on and become one of the biggest models in the business.
Erin Heatherton has already enjoyed a fairly long and successful career in the modelling industry and winning the Rookie of the Year 2015 would certainly be an even bigger boost for her, opening up plenty more doors in the future. We look forward to seeing how the battle goes, with Erin going up against Kelly Rohrbach, Robyn Lawley, Ashley Smith, Hailey Clauson, Rose Bertram, and Solveig, but we would put our money on Heatherton winning it this year.
Who do you think will win the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2015 Rookie of the Year?
