There has been a lot of talk over the years about the career of boxer Manny Pacquiao, with some claiming that he is the best pound for pound boxer on the planet right now. One name that nobody expected to be in the mix for a fight with Manny Pacquiao is that of Chris Algieri. Most people expected Algieri to struggle in his most recent fight with Ruslan Prodovnikov but he came through the contest winning by a split decision, taking his record to 20 wins from 20 fights and 8 knockouts, putting him in the frame for a Pacquiao fight.
One name that everybody would love to see fighting Manny Pacquiao in his next fight is Floyd Mayweather. Over the years there have been many debates about who is truly the best fighter on the planet and, if Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were to get it on, we would finally know once and for all, which of these boxers is the best.
