It still amazes us to think that Zayn Malik almost threw his huge music career away, all because he did not want to dance on the stage during the bootcamp round of his X Factor audition. Fortunately for Zayn, and his millions of fans all over the world, Simon Cowell convinced him to give it a good go, and since then Malik has gone on to become one of the biggest stars on the face of the Earth.

These days, Zayn Malik is flying solo on the music scene, after leaving his boyband One Direction, and the singer has been collaborating with some of the biggest names on the music scene. The most recent music hook up has seen Zayn working with fellow music superstar Taylor Swift on the new track I Don't Wanna Live Forever, and he has been talking about how the collaboration came about.
Malik explained, "We were kind of in separate places when I mentioned the idea to her. I spoke to her on the phone and she heard the song because Jack had played it to her. So she really liked it and she went in the studio the next day. The interesting thing was [Taylor's] actually friends with Gi, so she already reached out because Jack had just played her the song anyway, just because we'd done it together and she really liked it."

I Don't Wanna Live Forever will feature on the soundtrack to the upcoming movie Fifty Shades Darker, which is set to hit the big screen on February 10, 2017 in both the US and the UK.
