There have been some high-profile Twitter wars between celebrities over the years, as they see the micro-blogging site as a way to pick a fight with rivals. Singer Rihanna has been involved in a fair few Twitter wars over the years and it seems that she is now involved in a war of words with Teyana Taylor.
Teyana took to her official account to post a video of herself singing the song Caught Up in the Rapture but clearly Rihanna was not a fan. Rihanna decided that it would be funny to dress up one of her male stylists in drag and then get him to impersonate the video, in a clear dig at Teyana.
Since then, Teyana Taylor has hit back, taking to her Twitter account to say, "Petty is Petty and shade is shade. B--ch knew what the f--k she was doing," before then going on to compare Rihanna's net worth to the amount of men she has supposedly slept with, "Ya net worth & ya body count go neck to neck. #IndustryP---y" Taylor wrote. "90 million dollars & 90 million n---as diving in that b---h box," she added.
This has led to continuous back and forth tweets between the two stars, with a lot of the posts being removed, while a few of them still remain. It seems unnecessary for a singer to have a dig at another singer at all, let alone on Twitter. It is all very childish and belongs in the playground. The words "Role Models" spring to mind.
