There have been some great horror movies hitting the big screen over the years but, when it was announced that we were getting a new IT movie coming to the big screen, a lot of fans were unsure of the need for it. However, the new IT movie has gone on to become one of the most successful horror movies of all time, which means that we will get an IT sequel in the near future.

With the IT sequel now getting all the things lined up to get ready to begin production, there has been a lot of talk about which Hollywood stars will play the adult versions of the kids from the first film, with many calling for Jessica Chastain to land the role of the adult Beverly. Jessica has now been talking about the possibility of taking on the role, admitting that she would love to reteam with her Mama director Andres Muschietti.
Chastain was chatting to the guys over at Screen Rant, when she told them, "Well, I love Andy and Barbara [Muschietti]. I worked with them on Andy's directorial debut, you know, his film, 'Mama'. His first film. And you know, Barbara is one of my best friends so ... We'll see ... Listen, of course, I want to work on it ... they're my friends. They're like my family. Anything that they're doing I want to be a part of, so I hope we can make it happen."

IT: Chapter Two is still in the early stages and is aiming for a September 6, 2019 release date.
