There have been plenty of boybands in the past couple of years, who have tried to take the fight to One Direction but always come off second best, as the former X Factor contestants continue to rule as the biggest boyband on the face of the Earth. But could that all be about to change?
Over the past couple of years, we have seen the likes of Lawson and Union J both trying to build their reputations up to compete with One Direction, while The Wanted have had a very public spat with them. Unfortunately for The Wanted, they have ended up second best to One Direction every time, as the boys continue to dominate.
However, things could finally be about to change on the boyband front, as The X Factor have uncovered yet another impressive boyband. While the likes of One Direction and Union J were put together on The X Factor, Kingsland Road were already a band and you can tell that they have been singing together for a while.
During their live performance on The X Factor on Saturday night, Kingsland Road gave a performance that any seasoned band would have been proud of. They were professional, looked great and sounded great and, while they might not win The X Factor, Kingsland Road certainly have the potential to take One Direction's crown. Watch this space.
What do you think of Kingsland Road?
