If you're a Big Time Rush fan, we have good news. Recent reports that the band is calling it quits are nothing more than rumor facilitated by some reported comments that were apparently taken out of context.
'The Huffington Post' recently published an article about the end of the band's self-titled show on Nickelodeon. In that article, Carlos made some comments that made it seem as if they were going to take a break from each other as well. For example:
Carlos: "we've all known for five years that we're ready for our individual careers. I think it'll just help the band if we give people time to miss us."
James: "in terms of new content it might be awhile, but might not be ever."
Fans understandably reacted passionately to the band's statements, and immediately flooded the article with comments. Afterwards, Kendall called The Huffington Post to clarify the published statements, saying that even though the show is ending, the group is "still very much a band," with more music projects coming up.
Carlos' fiancée Alexa also spoke out about rumors that she was the main cause of the band's rumored break-up, tweeting:
"Bahahaha Woke up to ridiculous rumors this morning. Someone is on my ---- list. You guys rock. Thank you for sticking up for me. :)"
What do you guys think - is this backtracking by the band to appease fans, or is it a case of bad reporting? Let us know in the comments!
